Fishing for Better Hearing: The Eargo Story
Eargo stands at the intersection of medical innovation and inspired design, creating hearing aids that challenge everything we thought we knew about assistive listening. Their revolutionary devices—inspired by fishing flies and wrapped in silicone Flexi Fibers—allow natural bass sounds to flow freely while only amplifying what needs enhancement. This Silicon Valley disruptor has turned the hearing aid industry on its ear by creating devices that people actually want to wear—sleek, nearly invisible, and intuitively designed for real Life.
Finding Quiet at a Noisy CES
How do you demonstrate the subtle nuances of hearing technology amidst the cacophony of the world's largest consumer electronics show? This was the mountain Eargo needed to climb at CES in Las Vegas. They needed to showcase the difference their hearing aids make in a convention center buzzing with thousands of conversations, create soundproof areas for accurate hearing tests, and carve out brand presence that would resonate above the noise—all within a booth space that resembled more of a hallway than a showroom. The stakes were high, the timeline was tight, and the space was challenging—music to our ears.

FROM CONCEPT TO REALITY
From blueprint to reality, we crafted an environment where sound became tangible. The heart of our design was an innovative tunnel experience equipped with directional sound domes that focused acoustic demonstrations exactly where they needed to be. Soundproofed pods became private testing sanctuaries, each equipped with iPads and headphones for personalized hearing assessments. A dramatic 7' x 20' LED video wall was an artistic centerpiece and an educational canvas. We surrounded visitors with brand touchpoints—from a rotating 3D backlit Eargo logo suspended overhead to dimensional typography to elegantly designed product displays with acrylic windows. Every element was choreographed to guide, engage, and demonstrate—creating a 100% custom journey that stood out like a crystal note in a crowded concert.

Designing the Perfect Acoustic Journey
We approached the Eargo challenge like jazz musicians—with a clear structure but room for improvisation. Our strategy? Create a self-guided journey that would take visitors from curiosity to clarity, from hearing test to hearing revelation. The narrow but long booth space became our advantage rather than our limitation, transformed into a deliberate pathway that controlled both foot traffic and sound experience. We envisioned a tunnel environment—something both architectural and acoustic—that would guide visitors through the Eargo story while shielding them from the sensory overload of CES. This wasn't just about showcasing technology; it was about creating moments of revelation where visitors could actually hear the difference.
